A rich, nourishing formula to soothe itchy, dry skin, eczema, insect bites, sun or wind burn, lip balm, or as a deep moisturiser after outdoor activities like working in the garden. Our balm mixes kawakawa-infused coconut oil with local beeswax, and olive oil for a simple, no-nonsense traditional balm. We observe proper tikanga when harvesting our wild kawakawa.
Warm a small amount of balm (half a pinky-fingernail amount), between your fingers to a smooth consistency before applying to the affected area - the thick formula will form a protective barrier aiding in skin repair.
The beeswax used in our balm comes from a local beekeeper, and is natural and unrefined. Its deep golden colour reflects the propolis content, and the variety of pollens collected by the bees.

*For easier application over winter, consider storing your balm in a hot water cupboard or other warm spot. If it is too thick to easily spread, you can re-melt with more liquid carrier oil of your choice for a less solid consistency.
